Bug Description

<https://launchpad.net/evolution/+translations> says that "For Evolution, Launchpad currently recommends translating “Hoary evolution”, but there is no explanation of why this is, or how the problem can be fixed.

(If instructions are to be included on how the problem can be fixed, bug 85337 should be fixed first.)

I have the same problem for my project. The page https://translations.launchpad.net/shotserver/ says "For ShotServer, Launchpad currently recommends translating “0.2”." However, the current version is 0.4, and the old translation template is no longer used.

Where does the recommendation come from?
How can I change it?

Johann, your problem is bug #118663, which is fixed in our development version, but will be published only late in September. You can check that it works correctly using https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/shotserver/.

At the moment, to fix this, you only need to change the development focus of your project. Hope that's "intuitive" (it didn't work previously) now.

Changed in rosetta:
status: New → Won't Fix

Oh, not really, got confused by the last few comments. All of this is slightly black magic, so it'd be hard to explain as well.

Changed in rosetta:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: Won't Fix → Confirmed
