Could you please answer a few questions that can help us resolve the problem?

1. Does this happen every time you run firefox? Are you doing anything specific when it happens?

2. Are your bookmarks disappearing from your bookmarks toolbar, or the bookmarks menu, or both?

Sorry for the long response time - I waited to gather more info for you.

It appears that it's just the bookmarks tool bar. The folder names are
still displayed on the tool bar but they are empty. The full bookmarks list
stays populated and functional. Restarting clears the problem temporarily
but it re-appears. I have not been able to corilate it to any particular
activity, site, or application. So far the timing appears random.

This behavior has appeared with the 6.x release and is still present in
6.0.1
