Bug Description
When hibernating the user is shown lines of what i believe is dmesg output. This should be hidden from the user. After pressing the hibernate key the user is logged out. When the login screen was displayed for over 10 seconds I thought I must have pressed the wrong button and logged in again. After I did that the laptop proceeded to go into hibernation. When booting back up there was a visual defect in the graphical boot screen, a large white bar running horizontally across the screen. The progress meeter also does not move during the process.

The issue of the output lines has already been reported, you may report a bug against usplash about the grey rectangle and the progression, but this is a "design" limitation which will be fixed when they can, not an unexpected effect. We all agree it is ugly! ;-)
