Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
When switching users I get a panel that asks Choose an X server to start with two entries:
Standard X Server
Standard X Server
shortly before the screen switches to the view where I can either enter my own password to unlock the screen or select press Switch User again to choose a user to switch to.
I experimented with alternative servers (Xvnc) but commented out the lines in /etc/gdm/
[servers]
# 1=VNC
[server-VNC]
# name=VNC server
# command=
(note the whitespace). The /etc/gdm/gdm.conf was left untouched.
It is really a minor issue, does not hurt anybody, but might confuse users (when selecting an X-Server from the panel, which is possible when the session is restored again, a (new?) X server is started with a default login. what happened to the old X server? and so on ..).
Thanks all

Hi Johannes
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?
Thanks in advance.
