Bug Description

From kernel 2.6.38-11.48, suspend consistently produces a kernel panic on my Dell Vostro 3700 (4/4 tests). Suspending in 2.6.38-10.46 and previous versions works consistently.
I'm running in i386 using linux-image-generic-pae. I have the boot option pcie_aspm=off to prevent problems suspending/resuming in battery mode (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/656745)
In 2.6.38-11.48, the display goes back (seems to switch to text console) and then the caps lock and num lock keys flash indicating the panic.

Actually I was wrong; it wasn't the kernel switch that caused this but an upgrade to virtualbox - the kernel modules caused the panic

The packages causing this were from https://launchpad.net/~dnjl/+archive/virtualization/: virtualbox* version 4.1.0-dfsg-1ubuntu0~dnjl0~natty0
