Bug Description
In Unity 3D session, when I move the cursor on a window button (minimize, maximize or close button), the button is not highlighted as I expected.
The button look doesn't change when I move the cursor on it, but I can click on it and it's responsive.
It happens only with floating windows. When a window is maximized, the buttons in the Unity panel are highlighted when I move the cursor on them.
I tried several window bar themes (Ambiance, Radiance and unofficial themes) but the issue remains present.
In Unity 2D session, I don't have this issue.
I'm using Ubuntu 11.10, with Unity 4.6.0.

I believe you are using NVIDA with the gallium3d driver? This issue is specfic to gallium3d, happened at one stage in Natty as well that I reported as bug 729596. Though I am not totally sure if something needs changing in compiz as well
