Bug Description
I want to set the ubuntu Mono font as my font for konsole/kate but it is not selectable. other fonts like liberation mono and monospace are there and ubuntu mono is installed too

Hello Sandra; I've marked this as a duplicate of bug #703998 ("KDE/Konsole/KMail do not recognise Ubuntu Mono as being monospace") since that covers the slightly-wider case the current metadata and zero-width glyph slots upsetting several KDE/Qt applications.
Thanks for spotting and reporting it, it's useful for get independent reports as it helps build up a picture of what the most important issues are—have you spotted any other issues for the Ubuntu Mono Beta?
