I'm testing Oneiric Alpha 3 201100802.1

I can't establish a wireless connection.
It doesn't even ask me for a password.

@cpatrick08, if you could please open a separate bug report that would be great. You have a completely different wireless card than the original bug reporter.

@Sergio, can you please attach your dmesg output after booting into the 3.0.0-7.9 kernel which is exhibiting this issue? Thanks.

The last build (20110803.1) seems to have fixed the bug.
Anyway, this is my dmesg, I think it's worth a quick look.

As there wasn't any kernel update within the recent changes to the cd images, I suspect this may not have actually been a kernel related issue. Closing this bug for now. Thanks.
