I temporarily resolved this by downgrading to 3.05-1:

I checked again and still no package with symbols seems to be available.
Is there a fairly straight forward process for generating the symbols locally?

Confirmed on 3 separate feisty installs.

Please find valgrind debugging session attached. The offending memory location appears to be 0x80480EA, as in the other reports submitted above.

Reporting this bug on Ubuntu Gutsy, integrit again no integrit-dbgsym exists.

sudo integrit -C /etc/integrit/integrit.conf -u
Segmentation fault

Note: Also get segmentation faults for any option, including --help, -v etc.

strace:
execve("/usr/sbin/integrit", ["integrit", "-C", "/etc/integrit/integrit.conf", "-u"], [/* 22 vars */]) = 0
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
+++ killed by SIGSEGV +++
Process 25506 detached

Any progress?
Il

Also reporting this on ubuntu 64bit Gutsy

$ sudo integrit -C /etc/integrit/integrit.conf -u
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

strace:
execve("/usr/sbin/integrit", ["integrit", "-C", "/etc/integrit/integrit.conf", "-u"], [/* 39 vars */]) = 0
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
+++ killed by SIGSEGV (core dumped) +++
Process 11472 detached

I'm afraid I havent had time to compile some debugging symbols for this, as there isnt an already dgbsym package in existance.
