Sometimes dash comes up completely transparent, but is still clickable

Sometimes the dash decides to come up and be transparent, yet clickable. It will be visible again when you minimize the current window.

I tried making a recording, but it came out very strange in the fact that the dash was visible on it for the first half - while I really don't see anything and don't get the massive flickering that is in the video.

also could you mention which version of Ubuntu and unity are you using

11.04, 3.8.16-0ubuntu1~natty2 - latest one available. It's a severe
usability issue when it breaks down like that, I hope it won't be ignored.

the issue is definitely fixed in Ubuntu Oneiric set to release on
13Oct we are not sure what fixed the issue for you so nothing can
really be done to get it fixed in Ubuntu-11.04
