Bug Description

Internal microphone does not seem to work. It seems to run PulseAudio. In Sound Preferences the hardware is listed as Analogue Stereo Duplex. Speakers work fine -- I can hear sounds.

I have got Toshiba Satellite T110-10Z and I am also affected by this bug. Found workaround here which works: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10532125#post10532125

Simply add a line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:

options snd-hda-intel model=hp-laptop

Several bug reports have been opened and resolved by (diwic) for different laptops but same Conexant codec.

Hi and thanks for the investigation.
There is an existing quirk in the driver for this model. Can you also try this instead:

options snd-hda-intel model=auto

...to see if that works equally well (or better)? Please try all inputs and outputs.

Hi,
sorry for late answer. I have tested all and it works now without any problem.

Even HDMI audio output switches on automatically which didn't before...

Thanks for advice David! :)
