Hello, thank you for your report. Did you run "dropbox update" manually or was this during a package upgrade?

Also did you run it as root or as normal user?

Hi,

No, this happened just after I logged into the laptop.
Didn't do anything with the Dropbox application... it was just running in
the background with an icon in the Taskbar.
It is running as a normal user, not as root.

Was after a software update..

Did the update, rebooted and dropbox tried updating.
Took many tries to get it installed..

Have not had an issue since.

Normal user.

After many retries it updated eventually.
