specto icon doesn't appear in Unity indicator

The Specto icon doesn't appear in Unity's indicator bar, making it unusable under Unity. It works fine in a "Classic" (Gnome 2) session on the same system.

I just installed specto in 11.04 using Gnome classic (french) and am unable to add a watch. The add button doesn’t react.

Robert, yours seems to be a different bug. Please find a new bug report with the information you included in your comment above.

This is a known bug... and Canonical is welcome to provide me with a good quality patch to fix the fact that their indicator applet thingy behaves differently in Unity than in classic gnome session.

Still, in Ubuntu 12.04, there is no indicator for specto.

Thank you for reporting this bug, sorry that we weren't able to provide a proper fix.

This package has been removed from the Ubuntu development release.
