This matches Debian bug #656498

The issue was that the debug package was being built against the "nox" version of fontforge, rather than the X11-capable version.

David Kahn Gilmore's patch (commit r4429 in the Debian source package) updates the packaging commands to correct this,
so the issue should be fixed in the current Debian package.
