Bug Description

Trying to install the meta package of awn applets fails due to unmet dependencies, specifically libindicator3, which breaks a host of applications, including the unity desktop if installed.

awn-applet-indicator:
Depends: libindicator3 but it is not going to be installed.

This is not an issue in 11.04 where awn is functioning nominally.

The "awn-applet-indicator" package needs to be updated to work with libindicator3-6 (which is already installed in Ubuntu 11.10) rather than just libindicator3.

Update #1: libindicator6 is also installed by default in Ubuntu 11.10
Update #2: I have force installed the awn-applet-indicator package without installing libindicator3. When I added the applet it always crashed and in the terminal debug it said that it crashed because libindicator.so.3 did not exist so I made a symbolic link called libindicator.so.3 in /usr/lib which linked to libindicator.so.6 in the same directory. After adding the applet this time it loaded but nothing came up (it was an empty space).
I hope that helps with fixing this issue.
