Bug Description
The black screen bug still occurs when using the "Black screen workaround" in the old version so I've updated the bug description: when using WallpaperClock screenlet (version 2.6 from the screenlets PPA) in Ubuntu 11.04, the screen turns black every 1 minute for a few seconds, making this screenlet unusable.

The policy in Screenlets is to provide functional screenlets of general interest in the package screenlets- pack-basic. Rest of the screenlets in the PPA or screenlets-pack-all are provided "as is" and should be fixed either by interested users (you can provide a patch or join https:/ /launchpad. net/~indiv- screenlets- dev and do it) or original developers. I'm just assigning the bug to the original developer, but as far as I know, he hasn't been active for a while.
