Without this option, the wallpaper turns black every minute for a few seconds which is very annoying. This option was available in version 2.3 of the screenlet which can be downloaded from here: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=66717 Tested under Ubuntu 11.04 32bit. | The black screen bug still occurs when using the "Black screen workaround" in the old version so I've updated the bug description: when using WallpaperClock screenlet (version 2.6 from the screenlets PPA) in Ubuntu 11.04, the screen turns black every 1 minute for a few seconds, making this screenlet unusable. | |
