Thanks for submitting this bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better.

The package installer tried to ask some questions about the postfix configuration, but received a garbled reply. Can you tell us exactly how you initiated the install, whether you saw the questions, and, if so, how you replied?

Changed in postfix (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Hi, I have no idea whether this will help you or not.
I am not a Linux user but I wanted to check it out so I have installed the
Sun Virtual Box on my 64 bit win 7 workstation. I then installed Ubuntu 64
bit within the Virtual Box. This all appears to be working fine but I wanted
to use a different browser than Firefox so I attempted to install Chromium.
First by going to the web site and running it in the browser and then with a
downloaded copy. Both failed. I then decided to check the browsers in the
system and failed to be able to install them either. When asked to send an
error log to you I did. Sorry if this is a bit skimpy but I work in a
Windows environment and have very little to do with Linux.
