Bug Description
As cursor traverses waveform area of GUI, pointer artifacts persist across GTK ruler, erased only by change in zoom level.

Attached is a patch that removes the code in sweep that overrides the feature in Gtk+ to draw the ruler position marker. I don't see if the sweep code does things differently than in Gtk+, so the simplest fix is to disable and remove the code in sweep. This is what this patch do.
