Bug Description
Launchpad does not include a place for end-users to file feature requests, similar to how uservoice or getsatisfaction would handle them. Whilst filing bugs works fine in theory, in practice I've just had a "feature request bug" closed as invalid on another project because it wasn't a bug. Which is correct. But then what does Joe Average do?
I was also directed towards a mailing list (far too technical for "my mum"-type users), and the bug was converted to a question. Which it really wasn't...

Well, thats what the wishlist status is for - for categorising something as a wishlist rather than a prioritised defect. There is also the blueprints system (but thats a work planning feature).
I've be very nervous about adding in another 'app' to Launchpad for feature requests, and instead think we should make sure the bug tracker handles feature requests with aplomb.
