unable covert html to epub in WinXP

Binary package hint: calibre

I have one 1mb Transitional Chinese MS Word Document which save as HTML. Then, tried to convert from html to epub. The task took forever and never ending. After 6 hours, I have to quit the task and restart my pc.

The calibre version is 0.85

Conversion especially when coming from a Word document can take a long time to finish.

Coming from a Microsoft Word document I've heard of instances where it has taken over two days. In your case I could recommend saving as RTF and trying to convert that. If you ware using an older version of Word make sure when you save as HTML filtered.
