Screensaver doesn't start

Summary: Screensaver does not activate
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open System -> Applications -> Screensaver
2. Set timer to 1 min
3. Uncheck "Activate screensaver when computer is idle"
4. Close the application
5. Launch the application again and check to enable the screensaver
6. Wait one minute

Expected Result:
The screensaver will be activated after one minute

Actual Result:
The screen starts to fade but then immediately returns to the
desktop instead of starting the screensaver
