rhythmbox freeze when I try to play a mms radio

When I try to play this: mms://stream1.orf.at/fm4_live radio. Rhythmbox freeze.. I get no error message, but I cannot stop/quit. When I repress on play, it freeze.

Does this work with a different client? Do mms radio stations generally work with rhythmbox?

(Btw: I liked FM4 very much, when I was in Vienna... :-))

gst-launch playbin uri=mms://stream1.orf.at/fm4_live hangs, the backtrace seems to indicate a libmms problem

I just want to attach that it first worked in Edgy. Today it doesn't....

I too experienced problems with the fm4 stream and gstreamer (via Rhythmbox, see #82858). However in all Dapper, Edgy and Feisty I experienced the problems. However never at all times. I am not completely sure about it, but to me it seems as if during some shows they (the music station) encode the stream in a way that it does cause problems for gstreamer and that for some shows they encode it in a way so it works. However it is pretty tough to prove that...

Great news! Can I somehow try whether this works for me (preferably on Feisty). It is weird that upstream does not mention this fix.
