Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

when trying to output video to an external monitor from an atom laptop, selecting the external display resolution size does not do what it supposed to. Instead, we get partial graphics displayed on one monitor, and even less graphics displayed on another. the 'resolution' looks right , but the 'desktop' only takes part of the screen (a small part, like the left corner or the top half).

Download full text (3.6 KiB)

This looks like it has something to do with compiz, and texture sizes.
I can reproduce it in 11.04, so I'll do that and mark this as a
duplicate.
