No ability to remove downloaded shows

Searched the app for remove downloaded shows but not found. Installed app via Market to hTC Wildfire.

Thanks for reporting this bug. At present old episodes are deleted when new episodes are found in the feed so there will only be a maximum of 6 episodes (or whatever has been set in the settings) held on the device.

It would be good to have a delete function available to the user though.

Fab (or anyone else with a view), would it be best to use a button or a menu item? If a button where would it go? If a menu item I would expect to find it in the long click context menu when long clicking on an episode. That is not immediately discoverable but save on UI space.

I'd put it in the context menu you mentioned. Since the app auto-deletes old episodes it doesn't have to be immediately discoverable, IMO.

I've had at least once my SD card fill up [1], so wasn't able to download any more episode. I had to clean up manually because I couldn't remove the listened episodes from within the app. No major bug, but it would definitely be helpful.

This has now fixed as of revision 75e6186 on gitorious.

Long pressing on an episode in the list brings up the context menu, which now has an option to delete the episode from the SD card.
