Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

In maverick I was using compiz with edge flipping with the mouse a lot. This will be done in the compizconfig-settings-manager via Desktop Wall. There's a tab with Edge Flipping. In natty I am using the classic gnome system because with unity this is not possible anymore (at least it's very painful). So I switched to classic, switched on edge flipping for Pointer and Move and the result is: you can always switch virtual desktops while moving a window from desktop to desktop. But going with the mouse pointer to the screen edges works some times and after a while (some desktop switchings, sometimes even only one) it doesn't work anymore until I start moving a window over the edges. I tested this on NVidia and ATI graphics cards. The problem is the same. I know, when gnome3 comes everything is different. I guess in that case I'll change the window manager. But until then I'd like to have this bug fixed.
