Bug Description

SD Card reader on ASUS G53SW laptop does not work. Nothing is mentioned about it in dmesg as far as I can see.

Thus bug is a duplicate of 787855.

bug #703180 has a workaround of rescanning PCI by echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan
This does not work for me on my ASUS G53SW 2.6.39-rc7 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue May 10 21:49:57 EDT 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
