window runs offscreen due to long title/album/artist combo in player

Bug Description

I encountered a problem when playing tracks in which the combination of artist/title/album is very long and the title + breadcrumbs do not fit in the allocated space in the player on top. This particularly happens with classical music with long titles and multiple artists

In that case the window gets stretched and eventually runs offscreen (into the next workspace). In maximized window mode it also becomes largely unresponsive to mouse clicks, which simply shift the part of the window visible on the screen.

I have included a screenshot that gives an impression of the result. Note the missing search, settings and fullscreen button all of which have moved offscreen

PS: Thanks for this otherwise beautifull layout for my favorite musicplayer!

the easiest way is to download the tarball (https://github.com/shimmerproject/gmusicbrowser/archives/master), extract it and then run "perl gmusicbrowser.pl" from the directory you extracted it to.

Just tested it and I can confirm it's fixed. Fantastic work, now I can start
using gmb on my netbook, where this bug was most troublesome.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Best, Mark

PS: Is there any way I could make a small donation to the project?

Great to hear that the fix works for you, marking as fixed then.

If you want to donate I'd direct you to the gmusicbrowser-project, since we're only doing UI changes and fix bugs, but the main development work happens there (it's a one-man project). Check www.gmusicbrowser.org
