Bug Description

### Fixed in 2.6.39-rc7 ###

After upgrade from maverick to natty, i can't see the list of available wifi networks. I have a Speedtouch 121g USB dongle. In maverick i had to install linux-firmware-nonfree to get it running, but it doesn't work in natty.

Hi,

no, i haven't fix it.

I can confirm that the dongle works in a maverick updated system, but still doesn't work in natty (updated yesterday).

If any extra information is needed, feel free to ask. I don't know where to find useful information, but if you indicate me a file or a command, I'll be pleased to provide the information.

Hello
This is the most advanced kernel, and it will be shipped with Oneiric.
Sincerly I don't know but probably the system has to suggest that is trying to install an older version, but in case it is intalled and not working simply reinstall this version.
Thanks for the reply
Fabio

Apparently, I have the same problem:
 -Upgrade from maverick to natty
- Cannot access anymore to (wpa-psk) wifi networks (networks not detected on scan results)

Perhaps that the v2.6.39-rc7_oneiric kernel fix my problem too, but I cannot check if it's true, the amd64 version is not available...
