Unity (or possibly compiz froze compiz got stuck with a "fist holding somethign" cursor) when I tried to alt-drag-move a window that was sticking out under the unity bar from the next screen.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

Had to kill and restart compiz via terminal so the report might not contain much.
Using ubuntu natty beta 2 updated via synaptic etc.
I'm using emerald in case it matters (though I don't think it's relevant).

It's easy to reproduce and has happened twice.

Position a window so it's spanning across two screens, set unity to show the launcher when you mouseover the button on the top right and just grab the window by the part that would be covered by the unity bar if it was showing and you should end up stuck with a grabbing cursor unable to do anything and compiz won't respond to anything, even keyboard shortcuts.

Hm, I can't really reproduce it that way. Could you attach a video to
show what you mean? "Unity bar" is ambiguous here, I assume you mean
the launcher (the stack of icons on the left) but you could also mean
the panel.

I meant the launcher. Since it happened twice in pretty much the exact same manner I thought it would be reproducible. Just tried it myself and apparently it isn't.
