Bug Description

Binary package hint: keepass2

In ubunu 11.04; going to File -> Open -> Open URL... and using an FTP URL fails with the error: "The requested feature is not implemented".

Apparently this is an issue because mono 2.6.7 does not implement some functionality yet and it is fixed in mono 2.10.

Since mono 2.6.7 is the long term support version(http://www.mono-project.com/Release_Notes_Mono_2.6.7) and is readily available, it would be very helpful and would generate less support requests if FTP urls worked in mono 2.6.7.

I just downloaded the update and was trying to open a file from FTP that I originally saved there with the windows version and after I successfully enter the master password I get the error:

ftp://***/db.kdbx

Failed to load the specified file!

The file is corrupted.

Opening the file in the windows version opens as expected.

there was another problem with the mono ftp stream.
Can you try if this deb fixes the problem?

Its a small patch so there should be no problems, but to be save make a backup of your database first.

I am having the same issue with the database showing as corrupted when using an https:// location for the file (using webdav/SVN). The file will work just fine locally.
