Bug Description

Binary package hint: euler

Despite a successful install of `euler' from the Ubuntu Download Center, I got the following error when I tried to run it :

(euler:4422): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_char_width: assertion `font != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault

Thanks for reporting.

I also get a segmentation fault when attempting to run euler on Ubuntu Natty.

It reproduces for me too on Quantal Qetzal. gdb log is attached.

I still get the same error message when attempting to run euler 1.61.0-10 on Ubuntu Utopic. However, I was not able to reproduce this on my Debian Sid system.
