Do you mean "shouldn't"? "shouldn't be in shutdown menu"?

I was just about to report a bug that the shutdown menu is the wrong place for the system settings. I assume you feel the same way, but you seem to state that that is where it *should* be. :)

Who on earth thought that was a good place for it?! Hmmm, complete this sentence:

Several times a day I will want to:
a) shutdown my PC
b) reconfigure my operating system's settings.

Is it just because unity trashed the very useful System menu? At least let us "Classical Ubuntu" types have it moved out of the shutdown.
