Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
It continues showing until I make click on the screen. Seems to happen if I switch to another application than Vlc then switch back and go to fullscreen.

Does it work any better if you run VLC as:
$ vlc --no-embedded-video
?
Can you attach the X11 properties of the "buggy" fullscreen window (run "xprop" then click on the window)?
