error when create panorama selected

That's not helpful. You need to give more details (OS, version, 32/64 bit, hugin version, ...)
Just guessing: if you are running a 64-bit system, you need to install the 64 bit version (the 32 bit version shows this error).

Version 2002
Service Pack 3

HP
HP dc5750 Microtower
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual
Core Processor 4000+
2.09 GHz 2.00 GB RAM
Physical Address Extension

The application version is

2010.4.0.854952d82c8f

I believe that my OS is 32-bit and that the program is 32-bit. Correct me
if I am wrong.

Besides this. The description of when it occurred is as I stated.
