Bug Description

Most questions asked through Launchpad to Pyephem expire without answers.
This happens because of an expiration timeout, which is a stupid idea by itself.
The solution is to disable the timeout.
A bug or question does not resolve by ignoring it.

I just went into the settings for those sections of Launchpad and did not see how to disable the timeout. Which page, and which setting, would let me turn the expiration off?

Unfortunately I don't know that either.
If it is not obvious how to change this its worth a bug report against Launchpad itself.
I know it is a terrible system and many people complain about it a lot.
For example look here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/5977
Unfortunately the developers don't care.
Nevertheless, we should fight their ignorance.

This is not a bug in PyEphem itself, so I am marking it Invalid as a PyEphem bug.

Changed in pyephem:
status: New → Invalid
