(Holding Super-key) Launcher Shortcuts won't work while an indicator is being viewed. Just like the Dash won't open by pressing the super-key while an indicator is being viewed. see Bug #747516

both bug 747516 and this seems to have the same root cause. on super key working even the dash is opened njpatel said this on IRC
