I think that our friends http://opendesign.asia/ are doing it right!

What was designed is that Partners logos are on every page and then we have a sponsors page. If we want to change that, we will also change the overall design. I am not too keen about this at this point in time. But of course always ready to be convinced of the contrary. ;-)

Just seems like we should prefer placement for these folks chipping in money
or better yet, have the highest level be on every page.

Can you add them to the footer? We can have a Mozilla-like footer with the
logo of all the sponsors
I don't know how to add that at this point, I can try to see who could help
