Yes, only the format. The content is perfect. Only, we had 3 letterheads for
3 pages and we actually need a 1st letterhead and then 2, 3, whatever,
follow page.

I would suggest we make a short PR and that we post the pdf and odt files on the website. We could recreate a Press & Media page and store those there as well as put them in plain text as part of the page. How's that? The 1st PR actually showing on the front page could be put there too, right?

I like these three points:

* Promote: Pledge, Badge, Blog
* Present: Submit, Speak, Celebrate
* Participate: Register, Reserve, Arrive

What we need the most of is sponsorship though! That should be at the top.
The promote part and the sponsorship levels.

I want to get this sucker out mid-day today if at all possible...we are
really behind on promotion.

Also, we definitely need to insert "Badge" instructions. Where are those?

Optionally, could add a section about registration, but that kind of feels out-of-place in a press release -- maybe just a one-sentence "register now, it's free" w/ a link?

thanking sponsors publicly in PR is one of the things we promise in some of the highest levels of sponsorship. Considering that all the big players are public organisations, I think we can enlarge the thanking to all the sponsors. We can adapt the sponsors' page if we want to be coherent.

About registration, sure. It's been weeks now we're supposed to have a form online. We should get it tonight thanks to Peter. He'll work on it and I will polish the job. Would be cool to have some testers prior to go online.

About post-lgm at ICGQ I should be more verbose on that, agree. I will asap.

What do you mean by "badge instructions" ? are you talking about Pledgie badge or ID Badge at LGM ?

Remarkable ! I didn't read it the first time, sorry. But it's nicely put.

My only specific thing that I would like to see there is the thanks to our
sponsors and name them and an invitation to sponsors if others want to
contribute they can review our sponsors' page, etc. Like I said, this is
part of the little we can do to boost them, on top of the website!

I made a small correction about ICGQ event on the Saturday.
