Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

In "Preferencias/Específicas de las fuentes/Miscelánea" translation for "Detectar automáticamente los PPM para todas las canciones" shall be "Detectar automáticamente las PPM para todas las canciones". This is because PPM refers to a feminine object (pulsaciones por minuto) so it must be preceded also by a feminine article.

Thanks for the info. However, PPM stands for "Pulsos Por Minuto" in the Banshee translations:

  https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/banshee/+pots/banshee/es/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=pulsos+por+minuto

So PPM has the right gender (male).

This is an issue related with the presence of different Spanish dialects. The term "Pulsos por Minuto" isn't used in Spain but in South America.

Wikipedia itself uses this construction to describe Beats Per Minute as seen in "http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulsaciones_por_minuto". Rhythmbox had the same issue as seen in "https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/691885".
