Bug Description
Is this project still alive? Do you plan to work on new releases? I'm the package maintainer for the Fedora Package Collection and we have severals issues with gpx-viewer at the moment. I'm not sure if the issues occurs because the latest release of libchamplain are using is 0.9.0.

Yes project is still alive. I am not aware of any problems regarding libchamplain.
Problem is that I am limited in the time I have available to work on my many programs. GPX-Viewer will get updates, but no guarantee about when.
Can you give me more details about the problems? I understood there is aproblem with a libchamplain widget not showing a background and it crashes when switching to cycle map and zooming in.
This both feels more like a problem with libchamplain, when I have time I will investigate.
