Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

I changed my desktop and application font in Appearance Preferences to Ubuntu Medium (after launching a qt-based app which seemed to be using that by default and I decided I liked it better). Afterwards the text under icons in unity places is often truncated, as if it's still using the font metrics of the previously-configured font.

I wouldn't be surprised if this fixes itself after a logout/login or unity --reset but surely it *should* be right straight away. :-)

Screenshots attached.

Contrary to expectation, it *didn't* fix itself after a logout and login. unity --reset doesn't help either (and in fact doesn't seem to get me out of trouble the way it used to, but that's probably a different story/bug)
