Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

Hi! The icon for my application (gufw) has a blurry icon in a wide screen (Tested in Ubuntu 11.04 alpha3 Compiz updated to 23 March '11).

On my desktop computer I have a normal screen, I see all right; but on my laptop (HP nx7300) with a wide screen I see a wrong gufw icon.

Any idea, please? I think could be an Unity bug. Best regards and thanks in advance!

I have only access to widescreens so yeah the icon of gufw in the launcher is blurry when the app is started. but the icon in the dash looks fine.

An update from 2011-03-23 until 2011-04-01 did that in my desktop computer (not wide screen) I see the icon blurry too.

Importance set to 'low' because the bug is a cosmetic issue that does not limit the functionality of a non-core application.

Wow Alberto ¬¬
"Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better". Sure?
Sometimes I hate the Ubuntu (Canonical?) process: 2 years for setting the complete bug to "incomplete" with not reasons. Great!
I'll lost my time in better things that report bugs to the uptream! ¬¬

Please, who are you for setting the bug to incomplete? Are you the uptream dev? Thanks

Costales, Canonical knows that this process is very suboptimal and it's taking the proper steps for fixing it for Ubuntu14.04. And because I want bugs to be fixed too, I work as a volunteer member of Ubuntu BugControl (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBugControl).

@Alberto,
First: Thanks for your work as volunteer :)
Second: Please, understand it's frustrating to see a bug without movimient over 2 years and in 1 minute changed to "incomplete". I think it could be more soft and ask before to change to something like "incomplete" :)

Thanks for your link "Good Software Takes Ten Years. Get Used To it", it's really interesting.

Best regards and sorry the upset Alberto :)

I understand what you mean, and I have to agree to the answer being not adequate. So I'll wrote more natural ones from now.

On the other hand I'm so sorry for some people, because I gave this answer in about twenty bug reports more apart from this one (^o^)

But this is just learning after all. And thanks for your commentaries, Costales.
