Bug Description
For a recent Ubuntu upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10, Synaptics have got a whole lot of translations wrong. Meaning, the suggestions have ended up on wrong strings. This must have happend quite recently, as I have never seen as severe mishaps before. It is also weird how this new 10.10 upgrade uses wrong strings for Synaptic, while older upgrades don't have problems with these strings.
An example is found here: https:/

Sot his is not a bug anymore? Well, the problem persists. Synaptic is useless in its current state for people upgrading. Though I still believe it's a Launchpad issue ...
