Just reporting this . Happened at installation.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to report bugs and trying to make Ubuntu Server better.

Unfortunately, Ubuntu 9.04 Karmic Koala is no longer supported as it has reach its EOL (End of Life). For this reason we won't be able to provide a fix. For more information please refer to [1].

I'm marking this bug as won't fix.

There is no evidence that this bug is fixed in later releases. On the other hand, the DpkgTerminalLog.txt attachment is missing any record of this failure, which makes this sound rather like bug 680328 to me.
