Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

If I print a document (such as the one attached below), evince generates large print jobs (~3MB for the 9 page doc attached) that takes forever to print. While wating, a ghostscript process (gs) takes 100% cpu. This process does not complete within a reasonable time (I cancelled the job after waiting 20 minutes).

Using xpdf to print the same document results in a ~800kb printjob that prints almost instantly.

Seems to be OK in Ubuntu 15.04. I vote for closing the bug.

Debian bug is showing as being fixed in version 3.4.0
