Bug Description
My openoffice.org (e.g /usr/bin/oowriter) gives the following messages during startup from a terminal:
(once):
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x5b
(many):
(process:7600): GLib-GObject-
(process:7600): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_screen_
I've seen these message mentioned in other bug reports but these seemed to all be regarding copy/paste crashes, which I've had no problems with. The messages are annoying, especially when calling openoffice from a terminal program such as mutt. The messages are confirmed by at least one other person here: http://
My system is running a fully updated ubuntu edgy with xfce desktop. kernel 2.6.17-10-server, openoffice version 2.0.4-0ubuntu2
I am seeing this too in Edgy. I use Enlightenment (e16) as my window manager, and launching oowriter from the terminal gives me this same flood of error messages.
