Bug Description
See the attached SVG file and two screenshots. This is a path with linear segments with about 1000 nodes, exported from Matlab as EPS and imported into Inkscape. It often renders fine but at some zooms produces various artifacts.
I have Windows 7 x64, Inkscape 0.48.1. Screen resolution 1280x1024. Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.1 and 0.48+devel r10093 on OS X 10.5.8 (i386)
Similar to other reported renderer glitches, e.g. like

Will hopefully be addressed/fixed when switching the internal renderer to cairo (planned for Inkscape 0.49).
