Bug Description
Binary package hint: aptdaemon
This and >9000 other applications crashed after reboot after full update, which had to be terminated because it hung for about 2 hours when it was unpacking the kernel, and when I ran dist-upgrade, it hung for another half hour (before I ctrl+c'd it) while it was updating the initramfs whatever.

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #444551. However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the problem is in a dependent package.
