since louis (and or you?) asked on monday for a new form which is not on the create platform you will have to wait at least until wednesday evening.

the presentation submission system we have prepared (and which is the same one we have used for the previous years) is on the create wiki.

Jon Nordby has updated the LGM Website yesterday night with Eric and I and I believe that since then (around 7PM EDT March 14, 2011) we were able to launch the campaign. The links to Pledgie and to the Call for presentation wiki page are on the LGM home page with a newly written paragraph by Jonnor.

I believe we can proceed with the Press Release and polish the forms until they are ready — Wednesday night being the shortest possible notice for these forms.

People can
Give money > check
Submit talks ideas > check

People will be able to register to LGM by Wednesday (or maybe a couple days after if we want to test thoroughly the form to make sure we have everything)

I have no issue with that last delay even if I acknowledge it would have been nice to have everything settled at once. We have the essential things tied together. By experience, I know that very few people are ready to register 10 weeks prior to the event and we'll see the registration pace increase as we get closer to the LGM !

Cheers !

Louis
